Booster
Design: The booster was essentially a simplified version of the Competition-Rocket, where the long threaded rods were used to connect the parachute mounting hardware to the motor retention system, however the number of centering rings was reduced. These simplifications allowed for this certification rocket to be assembled in three weeks.
Construction: All components were made from 0.125” fiberglass, where the airframe and motor mount were filament wound. All components were adhered with slow curing epoxy resin.
